| A bit short notice this one, I managed to free up some time in the office so that I can get out on the bike. I am going to be riding this route at a very easy pace. For 2 reasons; 1 - To burn the fat I have built up from the metric ton of Easter Eggs I have consumed, & 2 - To work on my endurance, it became apparent it needs work, after blowing up on a climb last Saturday. Chris (Speedplay) & I did this ride last year & its a cracker, details can be found below. Although it must be said, I am not riding as fast as we did last time!!;https://nbcc.forumotion.com/t1043-beast-ride-saturday-29th-septemberThis time, I am going in the opposite direction. The route is here; http://connect.garmin.com/course/3205228Distance: 86.96 milesElevation: 4,432 feetCoffee Stops: The Red Door, Monmouth & The Black Shed, SlimbridgeDepart: I plan to leave Thornbury at 8:30. Anyone is welcome to join me if you would like a low HR, fat burner of a ride. |
