Thats a good idea just do the easy bit.
Seriously though that would be a very good call i think we had a fe do that last time .if you look at the route you can see the best place to peel of ,maybe Clevedon where we go towards Yatton you could come back across the moors and the cycle track back into Bristol.

Last time we did this route we stopped at a little Cafe in Sand Bay that had an indoor water feature and then again at a Cafe in Cheddar.

Just thinking ahead but with over 20 of us and the bank holiday tourists I got the feeling it's going to be a long wait.

You make a very good point Phil.

I think that if we use the cafe in sand bay it should be ok but the Gorge is going to be über busy.

I'm a possible on this ride now, although I may do only half of it.

I'm well up for this ride. Anyone remember what the approximate ride time was when you did this route last year, as I'm working on Monday night, just to give me some idea if and where I'll have to split off early.

I drove past the little cafe at SandBay yesterday and it still seems to be open so thats a possibility.
I will try and ring them to check out and warn them.
As to finishing time very difficult as last time the Gods threw everything at us weather wise which made it a long day.

I'm 99% sure I will be there unless the bristol 10k really messes me up. And if I'm getting it tight I will cut the journey short if other people drop out.

I have just seen Scott down at Chris' house and he has said that the cafe in Sand Bay is confirmed. Loads of cake in, free refills on Tea.

@Scott.A - We'll be getting underway from Costa at 8.00 am and collecting a few more at Kellaway builders at 8.30 am.
