I'm up for joining this ride - what time do you reckon you'll get to where the festival way crosses Yanley Lane in Long Ashton?

I'm guessing between 9.40 and 9.50am

Te He that will teach you to post ......................................

"The ride was long and fun, though people got a little slow after the cake stop! I asked Martin (clifton09) to give a headstart up Ashton Hill Razz which he provided. We got to wait 5 or so minutes for everyone else at the top."

I needed that headstart to get up that hill! This one... no chance. My legs weren't working by the time we got there.

Heres a clue:----

Leave start point behind UWE @ 9.00

Leave Kellaway Builders on Kellaway Avenue @ 9.20

The route: http://ridewithgps.com/routes/3397599
It's a legitimate question, repeating what's at the top of the thread is pretty patronising. I missed my first ever NBCC ride because I couldn't find the start place.

For anyone who's new - the meeting point is on the cycle path just off Stoke Lane, aka Long Down Avenue just where UWE/housing estate meet (correct me if I'm wrong, oracles of NBCC).

main problem this time of year is that you tend to forget how much you are sweating so you tend not to drink and replace salts so much. When it's warm you tend to make sure you drink enough.I tend to need to take more electoytes tablets this time of year to prevent cramp.
i don't know about cramp but in my (very limited) experience drinking too much often leads to crabs...........
