Alternative 12 Oct ride - 40-ish miler

I plan to do an alternative ride on 12 October (Saturday) for approximately 40 miles, starting from Willy Wicket at either 8:00 or 9:00 (depending on what people find easier... earlier start = earlier finish   )

The castle combe one looks good. I havent ridden a bike for about a month so a nice steady flat ride sounds good. I will check the weather and weekend plans with (hubby) and PM you Thursday/Friday.
