Saturday 18th - Early Bird Empty
PostSubject: Saturday 18th - Early Bird   Saturday 18th - Early Bird EmptyWed Jan 15, 2014 8:20 pm

Myself and Chris (Speedplay) will be following the route of the Wye Valley sportive this Saturday.

Link: http://ridewithgps.com/routes/2686008

The route is quite demanding and has some considerable elevation and will be ridden at slightly higher pace it includes two stops.

Planning to depart from Costa/Bradley Stoke at 8am

Anyone wants to come and play?

Jarek,

I did this ride with Nick last year. It's a cracker.

Mind out for the really sharp left hand turn on to the main road after the descent through Bream. It's just before the 53 mile marker. The climb after that is a cracker though!!

Thank you for the tips Dave, we will keep you posted with our progress on Saturday.

Perhaps Nick wants to join us and do it again? You know you want to.

No worries mate hope you enjoy the ride.

You approach the juction at speed after coming off the earlier descent, when I last came down it there was gravel there too. Bit of a squeaky bum moment.
