Gran Fondo 9 - Saturday 20th September

As the title suggest we are attempting our 9th Gran Fondo.

85 miles and 4700 feet of climbing

Departing start point @ 08:30
Departing Willy Wicket @ 08:55

First stop will be at The Mousehole Cafe in Cheddar
2nd Stop will be the cafe at Portishead next to the boating lake
Lakeside Cafe

I'm up for some beers at the Portcullis if anyone is up for it at the end

Looks like a perfect fixie ride, although stockwood hill is nasty steep hill.

East Dundry road is in really bad condition unless they've resurfaced it recently. I would suggest taking an alternative route Mark.

Route amended to avoid some dodgy roads

I've sorted cover for work so I should be able to come

I amended the route to avoid dundry due to poor road conditions

I've only got till 12 so plan to join you for some of it. Anyone else looking to do just some of it? I'll try and use the Garmin to get back otherwise...gulp!

Went to bs with funky, realised it was the wrong place. Rushed to willy wicket, No one there. Started chasing down the route but me and funky couldn't use the Garmin properly. Funky carried on a bit later without me as I got a Minty!. Got another one 10 mins later. But made it home just in time. Off for a few days holiday and boy do I need it morale of the story...dont assume.
