2nd Pavlova ride Empty
PostSubject: 2nd Pavlova ride   2nd Pavlova ride EmptyMon May 30, 2011 6:00 pm

This coming Sunday the Ladies from the Rockhampton WI are strutting their stuff in the cake department. As those of you who came last time you will know what a feast for sore eyes it is when you see those tables groaning with cakes.
I have one major problem in that I will be unavailable to lead this ride.
So we need one of you who can take the front, just to make sure you go the right way.The route can be same as last time or alter it as long as you can plan to get to the village hall at 14.00hrs.This is the earliest that the Ladies start serving.

Here is the route we took last time http://www.mapmyride.com/routes/view/30896764

If you have a look back to the first Pavlova ride the pictures are there to drool over.

PLEASE NOTE THE LATER START TIME OF 13.00HRS.

Unfortunately 13.00 hrs is too late a start for me. Sunday 12th I intend to do the Big Bristol Bike Ride. Then off travelling for a month. See you mid July unless there are plans afoot for the Big Ride.

See this thread

Pete if you want to sort out an early ride then please do so.The Pavlova ride is just a gentle easy ride for some of those who feel happier with a gentle later start until they feel more confident of taking on some of the longer rides.

URGENT WANTED
I have to go to London all day Sunday so will not be about to lead.So is anyone up to meet and great at Tesco's on Sunday at 13.00hrs and then lead out to Rockhampton cake stop.Route taken is not that important as long as it's as gentle as poss.
Some one once said something about now is the time for all good men to step forward 'or something like that.
Scott.
