Thursday 9th North Somerset?

Well as posted elsewhere Martin9 is up for a ride on Thursday.He has suggested that for a change we start from his works on Lulsgate airport.This will give us a chance to kill him off up Burrington Coombe.
I have a rough route in my head as some of that down that way was my area as a young whipper snapper before moving 'up north'.
Might have to make it a slightly later start time as we have to get across Bristol to get there but what does the senior department think.If not I have a very nice route around Bath and Bannerdown !

Did Burrington Coombe on Saturday (and Brockley Coombe on Thursday). Boy was it cold and windy going up and over the top of Mendips.

Unfortunately a late start is out for me, am hopeful we will be ready for the carpet early next week and a return to semi normallity.

Im flying on thus day from france to london and will arrive back at bristol at 9am so that would work fine for me .

Looks like Martin and I are meeting up with Clifton9 at his works on Lulsgate airpot. Exact location is in Martin9's post above.It's actually blatant advertising which I will ensure he pays for.Meeting time at about 09.30 ish hopefully away by 10.00.

I think the entrance to Clifton 9's is by the Silver Zone parking.

I think I'll just punch the postcode in to my sat nav and hope for the best.

Have decided, despite permission from the FPO, that I must finish the renovations asap. My apologies, enjoy the ride, I'll be thinking of you.

Looks OK but a bit short. Depends on start point I guess?

Only change I would suggest would be to take cycle path from Warmley to Bitton Station.

Then, A431 to Bitton (about 1K) and then Gloden Valley Lane to link up with suggested route.

Don't forget this was originally a route from Bradley Stoke that is why looks a bit short but we can play on Thursday.I have been advised by the 'router' that it might be advisable to go down Landsdowne rather than the nasty descent of to the left? .(Landridge lane and Tadwick lane)then along the A4 and up the old road to pick route back up
