Saturday 18th January - 50 to 60 miler

In preparation for the 85 miler the following Saturday this will be a good test of endurance.

For those of you that came out on the Saturday before Christmas this is the route we did. Has a bit of everything and then pretty flat at the end until you get to Ashton Court!

Please don't forget your lights for the two tunnels.

As a thought Mark you could use the glos100 audax route.If you remember you me Gary and Mark waggoner did it a couple of years back.

I don't remember doing this one, however, I've found this ride, South Glos 100 on RWGPS which sounds like it.

Gary we didn't do it as an event we just did it as a ride one day.If you remember we stopped at the pub by the canal tunnel at Sapperton

Scott -was this the one where I was really struggling towards the end of the ride and you took great delight in passing me on a small hill ? Was this the pub ? Tunnel House Inn

Don't take my small moment of glory away Gary.It's not that often, if ever that I actually go past someone ,unless it is down hill.

We are heading South as we tend to do on Saturdays particularly on the longer ones so that we can leave the northern east and west for Sundays as they start from Bradley Stoke.

Seems that it might be someones birthday this day .....................................I refuse to say who as he is a very old man now but if you look at the bottom of the forum when you are on the home page...............................................................

It's also a young Ladies this week but as she is a lady we will keep quiet about that one.
