PostSubject: Saturday 18th January - 50 to 60 miler   Saturday 18th January - 50 to 60 miler EmptyMon Jan 06, 2014 10:50 pm

In preparation for the 85 miler the following Saturday this will be a good test of endurance.

For those of you that came out on the Saturday before Christmas this is the route we did. Has a bit of everything and then pretty flat at the end until you get to Ashton Court!

Please don't forget your lights for the two tunnels.

Leaving start point @ 09:15

Leaving Willy Wickett @ 09:40

The route: http://connect.garmin.com/course/5274537

The cafe stop: Chew Valley Tea Shop

I don't remember doing this one, however, I've found this ride, South Glos 100 on RWGPS which sounds like it.

Don't take my small moment of glory away Gary. It's not that often, if ever that I actually go past someone ,unless it is down hill.

Thanks Scott and Gary for the suggestions.

We are heading South as we tend to do on Saturdays particularly on the longer ones so that we can leave the northern east and west for Sundays as they start from Bradley Stoke.

Don't forget, you'll need lights on this ride for the Two Tunnels.

Seems that it might be someones birthday this day .....................................I refuse to say who as he is a very old man now but if you look at the bottom of the forum when you are on the home page...............................................................

It's also a young Ladies this week but as she is a lady we will keep quiet about that one.
