| Aiming to complete the Strava (sorry Scott) Grand Fondle this Saturday which involves 130km (80ish miles). The route in planning is over the bridge, up to Devauden, down to Tintern, back up through the forest to Trellech, down Jarek's hill to the red door deli, to Tintern, up the hill, back over the bridge and then out to Berkley. Home via Thornbury. I'll post up a route. It will likely be a one cafe stop ride, you'll notice I've added in an extra climb back up to Trellech and I anticipate the ave speed being 15.5-16.5 mph. Just making that clear. |

| The climb out of Monmouth towards Coleford is very good value. | |

| Wasn't planning on going up that, but we could....
Was also aiming for a relatively early depart, 0830 perhaps. People are welcome to meet us at the bridge or split off at the bridge on the way back if they're not keen. |

| As a thought why not go up through the Forest and around Gloucester and back down this side of the river. I could point you towards some hills on the way back. | |

| We will go nowhere near that, my bowels won't cope.
Scott, main reason for this route was so there's a few points people can head home if they wish. I do however have something grippy in mind for the first May bank holiday....... |

| Darren, I've been super busy today and not had a chance to plan a route so I'm with you on Saturday, I'll keep my one in the locker for another day. I suspect we'll be labeling this ride Rock+???? |

| I could have a go at plotting the extra 2 climbs but not really sure on the roads that far north... Would make it surely into a century tho. Let's hope Scott is feeling very generous | |
