| Anyone else up for a ride out to watch the Tour of Britain on one of the climbs, either in the Forest of Dean or the Cotswolds | |

| Not much in St Briavels apart from the PUB of course. other options would be Tintern or over the top and down the other side to Lydney couple of good cafe's I know | |

| Simon, I could meet you at the junction of Stowe road and Mork road at 11am. Whenever i've watched the TOB or TDF stages you need to get there early.
Alternatively meet in St Briavels out side the YHA and ride/walk down the hill to find a good spot.

Only if you promise to take it easy on me on the way there.......I've seen your pace and you could be riding the TOB in your own right!

| I will definitely keep it slow! I'm racing Wednesday night, so it will be strictly a recovery ride for me!! | |

| Disaster. Just giving the bike the once over and came across a loose spoke and it just won't tighten. I'll go to the giant store first thin see if they can help in time. If not have fun without me. | |

| Disaster averted. Peeled back the rim tape. Screwed the nipple and it seemed to bite with the rim. Tightened with a pair of pliers (I know) and it's not rattling around anymore. Wheel needs truing but will do for tomorrow.
If any one can bring a spoke key thingy majig that would be great but I'll try getting one at giant if not.
See you tomorrow. | |
