Easter Monday cake /soup ride

Simon was contacted by the people who years a go used to provide tea Cake and Soup for us during the winter months when the cake stop was shut for the winter.It seems they are doing a one of special on Easter Monday and it would be very rude not to attend (It is also for a good cause)

Yes, a friend and Neighbour lost their 19year old son to cancer a few weeks ago and to commemorate his life they have organised a refreshments session at Rockhampton cricket club on Monday 16th April.
It spans 12 until 4pm and they are doing soup and bread as a light lunch until 2 ish and thereafter teas and cakes.

They are hoping to raise funds for the Teenage Cancer Trust

They are hoping local people will go along but also any touring cycling groups - it is apparently a popular watering hole - as I will find out when I get on my bike!!

Not sure about Facebook page but will ask Liz to do something.

I will be at Coleford Festival of Transport for the morning and early afternoon. But will join them for the cake session!!

I will sort out a route later but might just go with the cake ride route or if you all want I can do a bigger route.Let me know what type of route you want.

This is a provisional route it can be made shorter if you want .i have put in Mumbleys etc just for fun but we can easily miss that out .
