Young Simon and his wife Sue have invited us to visit them for the bank holiday 29th may.
Simon has sorted a route which i think he is just tweaking prior to posting but basically it is leave from Costa (time to be decided) up the normal moors route to Gloucester where we will take refreshment i think either the costa at Quedqly or the Sainsburys who have a cafe with outside seating on the outskirts of Gloucester then we go over the river and back down the other side but through the forest dropping into Simons and Sues for fantastic cake and food and tea.then the slog back home over the bridge .I think its about 70 miles or so so not to long and sounds like a good day all round.

first stop will be the costa at Quedgeley for quick cuppa and snack (there is also a Tesco there if needed)

Second stop will be my place for bacon sarnies & cake, Sue has said she will have a go at something gluten free as well

I've checked the route this side of the river from Gloucester down and as expected the roads are perfect!!! and they are all down hill!!

got despatched top the shops by the better half so all kitted up for cakes and Sue is going to have ago at glutem free & vegan for those that partake of that sort of thing.

As per Scott's post 09.00 start Monday from Sadly broke.

see you all on Monday Very Happy
