As its the first Sunday of the month next week and as the cake stop at Hill has hibernated until next spring we are of to Shirley's cafe at Severn beach. As some of you might remember we visited it a couple of years ago .Sadly Shiry has passed away but her daughter is now running the cafe and is doing her best to continue in the spirit of Shirley.Shirly started the cafe in 1945 and as you can imagine it has been a well visited cafe over the years.I think we owe it to her memory to try to keep this little seaside cafe going as it is a haven for cyclists and those just out for a stroll along the prom.
The route is a bit shorter than late and with very little climbing in the spirit of the cake ride .it will also be run at a relaxed pace and at the pace of the slowest. I expect the mad fool (he knows who he is ) will do a longer faster ride for those that want it so if you want a blast look out for his post.
If you have any friends or work colleagues who want to come along and have a nice spin the warm sun and visit the never ending delights of Severn Beach then bring them along.https://www.facebook.com/shirleyscafe1/
