It's a lumpy route up to Stroud and the Slad Road going out of Stroud looks like a large undulation in the road | |

| It is actually a very nice climb. They say it is as near as you will get to a continental /alps climb as the gradient is about right.it's narrow for the first 1/2 mile but fine after that. You can even stop for a pint in Laurie Lees old pub. Cider with Rosie | |

| I have to say it was bloody tough today, I can't remember the last time I just had enough of being on the bike but at 65 miles my tank was empty.80 miles and 5000ft of climbing, probably 15-20miles of TTing my legs are numb | |

| For those of you not wanting to do the full century ride you could always join us to the first food stop at the Lock Keepers cafe in Stroud and then return via Berkeley giving you a 50-60 mile or so ride. | |

| This will be a special ride for me as I will have clocked up 10,000 miles since my first club ride with NBCC in April 2011. Notice any familiar faces from my first Pavlova ride?
