The Mellow Meanderers club ride.Caldicot

We are off to Wales next week either to Caldicot or Seawalls all depends on the weather/wind.
I understand that some of those on the main club ride are finding the distance/pace a bit much and it is meaning that you are getting back really late.if that is the case why not join in with us we are doing about 30-35 miles with a few hills but not to many so why not come and join in with us..?

Right I have had a look at trying to get to Seawalls cafe and it would add 20 miles at least so that will have to wait for a while when it warms up and we can tackle it on a bank Holiday

Looks like I will be missing another ride to Caldicot.

I went to the bike shed at work to get my bike so I could ride to the train station and find my bike at a funny angle on its stand when someone tells me that someone hit my bike on the way out of the shed.

I check the bike and find the back wheel all wobbly and one of the spokes broken.

I'm not sure how bad it is but as it is my only bike, I could be out for a while until I can get this sorted.

Hopefully when my new frame and parts arrive in a couple of weeks, I won't have this problem again.

Wheel sorted out with tyre It's a Planet X cx wheel bearings are not the best i will see if I can get them done before i hand over.I have a cunning plan as to how to get the wheel to you.I will keep you informed.......................

Wheel all done bearings fitted.
Clive is coming up here tomorrow to look at a bike and he will collect the wheel from me and drop into Master Mills house.
