Looking at forecast for tomorrow I think it will be pretty miserable what ever time we go out.

Friday looks better. Will you be around?

I do have to wait for a delivery but should be OK for 10.30-ish. I could ring as soon as I am free.

Hi Nick, Friday sounds better to me, as I did 48 miles today and don't think I'll be up to it tommorow, Friday anytime after 8.30 should be good.

I'm OK for Friday, if I could tag along. I'd be coming from Thornbury, so I'd be at Warmley for 10:30. I'll PM you my mobile number, just in case of problems.

A single speed ride ... now, I've got a Spesh Langster I could use; but it's Nick's ride so he really should call the shots. What have you got in mind, Nick? I've got a bike with gears if you want something less flat.

Bradford on Avon with coffeee stop before we hit Bradford to avoid the hill out of Bradford.

Malmesbury

Lakes and back via Clevedon

Clevedon and back via Nailsea and Long Ashton

Clevedon and back via Brockley Combe and Chew Magna. Two climbs on this route.

I have no real preference and am open to other suggestions.

Can we make it 10.45 to give me a bit more leeway re expected delivery?

Looks like Friday is the new Thursday.

Change of day due to people's availability and fact that forecast is for lots (and lots) of rain tomorrow.

I might accompany you for an hour or so. Missed my planned Sunday ride and have to test bike prior to the Sunday Fondo. Will txt with confirmation.

@martin - I've decided to ride a bike with gears, as I feel that this will fit better with the likely mix of riders, given my capabilities. Whilst I'm OK with moderate hills on a single speed of 70 inch gearing, such as the church at Oldbury (Cow Hill) there are quite a few nasty stabs around and I hate getting off to walk .

I'd still like to do a single speed ride though, so perhaps we can arrange this separately. What do you think?
