Thursday 12th April - Evening Ride

I'm available for a evening ride this Thursday. If you're available I can be at Bradley Stoke for 6pm

I should be able to make this. Do we need lights?

I think it would be a good idea to have some "get me home" lights on just in case.

Sorry Mark just realised my Doctor wants to have some of my blood on Thursday so won't be able to make it.

How much is he taking?

Well it feels like it.No it's just my diabetes blood test.

Might be able to make this to (assuming I'm not working away from Bristol on Thursday, should know this afternoon).

Ride is still on. I'm looking at getting to Bradley Stoke for 5.45pm and setting off at 6pm. Flexible on route. As you want to take your single speed I'll let you lead then you can't blame me!

cheers, enjoyed that despite getting soaked through. Was on auto-pilot at the end and turned off to my street before I realised I hadn't said goodbye, doh!

Enjoyed todays ride, i will join everyone else... feet were very wet and ice cold

I choose for this ride my old single speed, white bibs and sun glasses, for which there was really no need!
The sky as we left was ominously grey , the threat soon turning to rain, I needed a leak which with bibs is a pain!
Three miles in we're all soaked to the skin it's still pelting down,with no sign of it clearing, Aerobully climbs to a tree to try his new gearing...
Ten miles later and the fun's wearing thin, I'm cold and I'm wet and I still haven't bin.....
As the near Easter Compton the urge gets still stronger, soon I' standing in a gateway thinking , "last time I looked I could have sworn this thing was longer?"
Well "best try to catch them" they're being led now by Nick "try to claw back some time and what's left of my ....k
Then I'm back on the bike and we're heading for home , I pass MrBull with his arse all a-foam...
Next we're at Tesco's and then safely home, my feet eventually warmed up and my ahem, well suffice to say, "it" has regrown

Very good. I'm still investigating the source of the foam!
