Gareth (Bruce) 9.00 am at the Create (not Creation !) Centre. It's BS1 6XN. Google "Create Centre Bristol" and your search will probably return a nice little map of where it is |

Good man. Chris Speedplay is coming along too so you might like to call in on him on your way. |

| People will def need suntan lotion tomorrow (there, I've gone and jinxed it!), I'll stick some in my car just in case some forget but it's expensive so pls remember to use your own :p
Also bringing a banana, date & pecan cake if anyone wants a slice for their jersey pocket (sandwich bag provided!)

Good man. Chris Speedplay is coming along too so you might like to call in on him on your way. He is riding from Thornbury. I am driving over to Bradley Stoke. Will see you in the AM. |

I take it there will be a stop somewhere? I've never really carried energy bars before, and don't have any ... relied on the food stations on event rides in the past ... wouldn't know what to take and bit late to get anything now ... There's tons of advice on t'net about what to eat when cycling but basically you need to eat low fat carbohydates. If you're not short on cash then energy bars are the easy option but if you have to watch the pennies home-made flapjack is the answer. Other favourites are fig-rolls, dried fruit and bananas (yeah, they're made of carbs too !) |

Ar Dad did drop that someone had a birthday lately. That was a week ago! I'm in good company. My birthday is the same day as the club's and a certain Mr Wiggins.
