Bonking on a bike up the gorge...i'm thinking balance might be the main issue there...well that and spectator participation

Just a reminder to the gentlemen out there to buy their partners some shoes or something this week so you can earn enough Brownie points to come on this next Monday.

I'll be cycling from Costa / Bradley Stoke to the starting point (via Gloucester Road, Kellaway Ave, Clifton Down, Bridge Valley Road, Hotwell Road which'll add 20 miles in total to the trip). I'll be leaving Costa at 08.00 am

I've got a possible pass for this. Just checked long distance forecast and the air pressure is rising all week to around 1030 by Monday, 17C and Sunny day, lets hope for something like that even if it means a couple of watering/cake stops Smile

What time will you be at Kellaway Ave?

I would expect to be at Kellaway Ave by 08.30 am. NOTE I've brought forward the Costa departure time to 08.00 am so we can cycle down at a more leisurely pace and have a little spare time before starting the Century.

I got a pass, thankfully without the need to buy her any shoes.

What time is the off? I have read the whole thread and couldn't see it. But that's most likely my eyesight.

Sorry about that it was in the original idea therad but got lost in the process of moving from an idea to an actual event .
Last time we started at 09.00 from the Create centre down in Bristol I believe that there is BW cycling shop very near there so this time same again I think they are very close together so around that area.
For those of an older disposition you might remember that there is a cafe there it used to be a Transport cafe but it's a bit more up market now but anyway thats where it is by the Lock under the swing bridge I am sure some one with some knowledge will post a Google thingy.
